There are different ways you can get involved in the work of Bolton Carers Support. One way in which carers and former carers often like to help is through becoming a Volunteer. There are Outreach Volunteers who help with staffing information displays and with organising and assisting at events for carers. Many people benefit from talking to someone who has been a carer themselves.
Another way in which you may want to get involved is through joining the Management Committee to help oversee the work of the organisation and to support the staff team.
Other carers and former carers who do not want to get involved in a practical way, help in other ways, for example, at specific times of the year with National Carers Week or National Carers Rights Day.
Or there is the option of helping with fund-raising aspects of the work.
